Cast Change in The Ham Funeral
Due to personal reasons Dennis Olsen has had to withdraw from the State Theatre Company and Adelaide Festival production of Patrick White's The Ham Funeral. However the Company has been fortunate to secure the services of Jonathan Elsom to play the role of the First Relative.
Jonathan's 40-year career in the UK included leading roles for the New Shakespeare Company, Chichester Festival and in various West End productions, as well as roles in a wide range of television productions including To the Manor Born, Rising Damp, Minder and The Avengers. He has been based in Sydney since 1999, where his theatre credits include roles with Sydney Theatre Company, Griffin Theatre Company and Belvoir, and television appearances including All Saints.
We look forward to welcoming Jonathan to Adelaide and State Theatre Company for his South Australian theatre debut.
The remaining cast remains the same, comprising actors Luke Clayson, Lizzy Falkland, Jonathan Mill, Amanda Muggleton, Jacqy Phillips and Geoff Revell.
The Ham Funeral will run from 25 February – 18 March at the Odeon Theatre, Norwood.
