State Theatre Company of SA Red Carpet Ambassadors are a group of young theatre lovers aged 18 – 30 years. Their role is to meet with the Education and Access Manager 3 – 4 times a year to plan various Red Carpet (Under 30 subscribers) functions, working on creating vibrant experiences and networking opportunities with like-minded people.
Role:
- Include State Theatre of SA link on Facebook, MySpace or other social networking sites
- Write and post about State Theatre of SA on networking sites
- Place postcards and posters around campus facilities and community outlets
- E-mail and text friends about upcoming programs and events
- Write on special event blogs or for State Theatre publications
- Represent State Theatre at various Red Carpet functions
- Introduce new people to the theatre.

There is no charge to participate, and no prior theatre experience is required. However, applicants must have a strong interest in theatre, and be willing to attend meetings and functions.
